An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Gastroenterology and Hepatology Team as an Admin Assistant within our administration team.
This role will consist of general administrative duties such as scanning, processing of clinic and admin letters, data entry, appointment booking and cashing up, checking review dates and adding patients to waiting lists and to undertake other admin duties as required.
The role requires someone who has great attention to detail and great organisational skills for working in a fast paced, busy department.
The post holder will provide an efficient, effective, and customer-focused reception and clerical service for all patients attending the Bristol Haematology and Oncology Centre (BHOC) Outpatient, Day Unit, and Inpatient Departments, in both Haematology and Oncology.
The post holder will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, alongside the Nursing Staff, Medical Staff, Allied Health Professionals, and other clerical staff within the centre, throughout the Trust, and at various peripheral sites.
The post holder will be the point of contact for patients, carers, colleagues, other departments, and external agencies, and to handle queries proactively.
