The Opportunity:

We’re excited to be recruiting for our TBUK Operations placement scheme, which will be a 13-month placement scheme running from the beginning of August 2024 until the end of August 2025. This will be our 2nd year running offering our Operations placement following a hugely successful first intake in 2023.

Operating as part of the TBUK Operations team, you will support Triodos in delivering a first-class service to the UK business. This placement will be a member of the Process Improvement Team, who support the wider business in ensuring business processes are standardised, efficient and in control.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

Process Management:

  • Working with subject matter experts to document core business processes.
  • Developing process flows for critical processes.
  • Supporting development of process performance measurement tools.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Leading small scale process improvement projects using Lean tools and techniques.
  • Supporting analysis and delivery of end-to-end process reviews .
  • Facilitating root cause, value stream map and solution generation workshops.

What we are looking for:

This role is suitable for a placement student who is studying business or similar, or has an interest in a career in project management & operations . The bulk of the activities envisaged are entry-level activities suitable for someone in their first professional role

To be successful in this role, you will possess excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, with an ability to work confidently and effectively with internal teams and external partners. Strong communication and analytical skills with a good working knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel. Finally, you will be a diverse thinker with an adaptable and flexible approach and have a genuine interest in positive social and environmental change. It is desirable that you will possess a foundational level of analytical skills and experience of stakeholder management.
