We’re hiring for a support worker in our Childrens Outreach services in South Glos area. 

Do you enjoy working with children and young adults?  

We’re looking for outgoing, active and dynamic individuals with a can-do attitude and a desire to help someone live a full life!  

As a children and young adult support worker, you’ll be flexible to support across a week. This can include weekends, support after school and in the school holidays. Lots of fun and engaging activities are planned for the people we support such as gym, sporting activites and clubs.  

The support you provide will be centred around each person’s values, preferences and needs which could include taking someone for a sports lesson or help parents during the school holidays. You may need to support with personal care and medication needs.  

A full driving License and use of your own car is essential to take young people out to activites.

  • Sleep-ins paid at £60 extra (basic salary £11.68 - £12.01 per hour)

You will:

Your responsibilities: 

  • To empower the people, we support to live the lives they want to lead 
  • To develop daily living skills. 
  • Support the people we support to access their communities for socialisation, employment, training or friendships 
  • To contribute to, develop and implement the individuals care plans. 
  • To communicate effectively and professionally with people we support, their family members, and external professionals. 
  • Maintain the health needs of the individuals we support
