7.5T Home Delivery Driver

Pay Rate: £35,567.53 per year

Contract Type: Permanent

Shift patterns: Tuesday to Saturday AM 0500-0800 start window

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a 7.5 Tonne Home Delivery Driver to play a vital role in our distribution service.

What does the role entail ?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

• Working alongside a drivers mate working a Tues-Sat AM shift carrying out Home Delivery's on behalf of our Client from our depot.
• The depot Is also commutable from Newport , Cwmbran & Chepstow .
• Heavy Lifting involved , with two person lifting deliveries into the customers premises .
• Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations

What do we need from you?

• You will need to hold a valid HGV 7.5 Tonne Driving Licence (C1), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card / Hold a valid HGV 7.5 Tonne Driving Licence (C1).
• Experience with the Home Delivery of heavy items is desirable .
• Great customer skills as delivering into homes on behalf of our client
