Job Requirements/Description

Salary: SCP6-7 £23,893-£24,294 per annum, pro-rata

Contractual hours: 22.5

Employment Start date: 1st September 2024

Employment basis: Permanent, part time role, 22.5 hours per week worked over 3 days 8:00-4:00. Term-time plus INSET days and 3 days during periods of school holidays (equivalent to 40 weeks per year)

Henleaze Infant School is a thriving and happy school made possible by our committed, talented staff team. We are looking for a highly motivated, organised School Administrator to join our office team to support the Business Manager in administrative matters and the Headteacher in pupil admissions and attendance. These key responsibilities go alongside the interesting and multi-faceted role of a School Administrator, including being the welcoming face of the school and supporting families and the staff team.

The successful candidate will be:

  • An organised self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, while
  • meeting deadlines.
  • Able to be interrupted during busy tasks, and manage distractions to complete work.
  • Energetic, friendly and am effective communicator both verbally and in written form.
  • Confident in the use of IT systems with the ability to learn new school-based systems.

You will work within the Business Team alongside our Finance and Admin Team Leader and Business Manager, as well as working closely with the Headteacher.
