We are currently looking for friendly, enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join the Resource Operations Centre (ROC) team in Bristol. No previous experience is needed as full training will be provided!

Main duties of the job

The Lead Scheduler is responsible for delivering resourcing services in line with the areas of ROC responsibility, facilitating the operational needs of the service and considering the requirements of Trust employees while strictly adhering to Trust Policy, SOP and relevant legislation. They are responsible for assisting the Senior ROC structure in delivering National, Corporate and local Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and for providing mentorship and training to other ROC and Trust colleagues.

The post holder will maintain, administer and oversee the Global Rostering System (GRS) for the management of resources and fleet, and the co-ordination of personnel records, rota patterns and abstractions; including the handling of sensitive and confidential information. This will include testing and roll out of software updates, providing help facilities and being responsible for information and records.

Person Specification

Education and qualifications

Essential

  • 4 GCSE's (or equivalent), Math's and English mandatory, Grade C or above.
  • Evidence of competency in IT or Data entry - such as NVQ in Business Admin, CLAIT, C&G ECDL or equivalent experience.

Desirable

  • Evidence of higher education or equivalent experience.
  • Full Driving Licence.

Previous experience (Paid/ Unpaid relevant to job)

Essential

  • Office and Team working experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft IT package.

Desirable

  • Scheduling or resource management experience.
