Key Details

Hours: Full-time – 35 hours per week

Working Pattern: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.

There’s opportunities in our B2B Marketing Communications team, within Brands, Marketing & Experience, for a Marketing Assistant and an Event Marketing Assistant.

As a Marketing Assistant you’ll be:

  • Supporting on end-to-end marketing campaigns from design through to delivery and measurement.
  • Handling and supporting agreed budgets and agency resource.
  • Building business relationships with key Business and Commercial Banking business partners and agencies.
  • Handling and supporting the development and implementation of marketing activities in support of business pivotal initiatives.
  • Delivering effective marketing communications identifying and making recommendations to improve and optimise ongoing performance.

Or, if your talents lie in Event Marketing, you’ll be:

  • Supporting the delivery of end-to-end events across the UK for a broad range of business stakeholders
  • Managing and delivering tactical templated events
  • Handling and supporting the development of the event plan in support of business critical initiatives.
  • Delivering effective events that are measurable while identifying and making recommendations to improve and optimise ongoing performance.
  • Managing all aspects of the events lifecycle including suppliers, venues and production
  • Supporting event administration, budget management and resource planning
  • Developing event marketing collateral

Along with this you’ll have:

  • Marketing experience and knowledge of FS marketplace, ideally in B2B.
  • Campaign delivery experience including planning, briefing, creative development, campaign execution and reporting.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills that can be deployed at all levels.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with agencies.
  • Excellent attention to detail and good project management experience.
  • Good time management and a proactive attitude.
