Junior Data Analyst – 3-4 month FTC

Purpose of the role:

The Data Analyst will support our data-driven initiatives by transforming raw data into actionable insights. This role is crucial for enhancing our business decision-making processes. The intern will contribute directly to projects impacting the core strategy of the business, gaining hands-on experience in data analysis and reporting in a real-world context. 

The intern will engage in maintaining and enhancing our data infrastructure and systems through data entry and integration techniques

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, process, and analyse data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and reliability in the datasets. 
• Develop, implement, and maintain databases and data systems necessary for analytics and reporting. 
• Optimise and maintain data flow between systems to enhance performance and scalability. 
• Generate insightful and actionable reports for internal stakeholders to support strategic decisions and improve business outcomes. 
• Collaborate with various teams to understand data needs and deliver precise analytical solutions to business problems. 
• Apply statistical methods and data modelling techniques to identify trends, make predictions, and evaluate business impacts. 
• Troubleshoot data related issues and assist in resolving them in collaboration with IT Teams

Essential Requirements for the Role:

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate program in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field. 
• Advanced understanding of Microsoft Excel 
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team. 
• Strong communication skills with proficiency in presenting complex data in an understandable format.
