Salary: £23,500 – £25,000 per annum depending on experience.

As a Web Fulfilment Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our online order fulfilment process. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of processing online orders, from order receipt to shipment and delivery. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Your responsibilities

  • Order Processing: Receive, review, and process online orders accurately and efficiently using our web-based fulfilment system.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper stock levels to fulfil customer orders in a timely manner.
  • Order Tracking: Monitor order status and provide regular updates to customers regarding order progress, shipment tracking, and delivery information.
  • Shipping Coordination: Coordinate with stores and the distribution centre to ensure timely delivery of orders to customers.
  • Quality Control: Conduct quality checks on outgoing orders to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to quality standards.
  • Customer Service Support: Address customer inquiries and resolve order-related issues promptly and professionally via email, phone, or online chat.
  • Data Analysis: Analyse order data and trends to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of order transactions, customer communications, and inventory movements.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other departments, including customer service, warehouse, and logistics, to ensure seamless order fulfilment operations.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to order processing and fulfilment.

The skills & behaviours that make it all happen:

  • Previous experience in order processing, fulfilment, or related administrative roles preferred.
  • Proficiency in using web-based order management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and order processing.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and workload in a dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and online retail operations is a plus.
  • Interest in cycling is a plus!
