That is why we are looking for a Student Mental Health and Wellbeing Advisor to join our passionate Student Wellbeing Team.

In this role you will play a vital part in enhancing the student experience by providing a safe, positive environment that students, staff and parents/carers can access for advice and support. Day to day you will be working with students on a one to one basis or facilitating workshops and group session to develop resilience and empower health and wellbeing. This is a varied and highly fulfilling role which will help shape our students to be confident and happy individuals, ready to take on the challenges that life throws at them and helping them to achieve their very best.

As well as being highly enthusiastic, you will be pro-active, naturally collaborative and an excellent communicator with a successful track record of supporting young people. You must have a passion for working with young people and the ability to support them, showing care and attention, providing a listening ear and the ability to act accordingly in a variety of sensitive circumstances. Due to the nature of the support you are providing you need to be an emotionally resilient person with the ability to work in sometimes challenging situations, remaining calm and de-escalate situations effectively.
