Job Requirements/Description

Within the University’s Resourcing department, we are recruiting for a Recruitment Coordinator (RC) to join our team. As a Recruitment Coordinator you will be responsible for the delivery of administrative and transactional tasks and support for all recruitment life cycle activity. The RCs play a key role in delivering a seamless manager and candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

You will act as the first point of contact for all hiring manager and candidate queries, safeguarding our brand as a trusted, valued service. You will provide a solid foundation of support for the Talent Advisory team to deliver successful recruitment across our divisions and faculties.

What will you be doing?

As the dedicated Recruitment Coordinator, you will manage the full spectrum of administrative tasks within the recruitment lifecycle. Your key responsibilities will include:

End-to-End Recruitment Administration: You will handle job posting, task assignment, interview scheduling, candidate management, and referencing.

Primary Point of Contact: You will address and resolve inquiries or issues from hiring managers and candidates promptly, keep stakeholders informed about the status of tasks, and escalate concerns to the Resourcing Business Partner and/or Recruitment Team Leader as needed.

Guidance and Support: You will provide advice on the recruitment process and best practices for system use, adopting a 'candidate-first' approach to support hiring managers and stakeholders throughout the hiring process.

Provision of Exceptional Candidate and Stakeholder Experience: You will ensure a positive and professional experience for all candidates and stakeholders, guiding them through the hiring process and addressing any concerns to maintain a high level of satisfaction.

You should apply if

  • Proven experience in fast-paced, high-volume administrative and/or recruitment roles.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in the M365 suite, showcasing organisational prowess.
  • Ability to effectively prioritise tasks amidst conflicting deadlines and a high
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to enhancing the recruitment process.
  • Experience in a busy recruitment team (in-house or agency) is advantageous but not essential.
