Bristol City Councils Housing Options Team have a permanent Team Leader vacancy to work within the Homelessness Prevention Team.

The team are specialists in working with families and single people who are homeless, or at risk of homelessness; to ensure early intervention, prevention, and to assist households in finding solutions to their housing problems.  

Excellent communication skills are required for this role as well as a commitment and desire to ensure positive outcomes for households that are homeless or at risk of homelessness.  

You will need to have an excellent knowledge of the homelessness and related legislation and will need to demonstrate an ability and willingness to lead, motivate and manage a team delivering a busy frontline homelessness service.  

The role is interesting and varied and also involves working under pressure to meet deadlines.  

You will be required to work on their own initiative but also as part of the wider team within the Homelessness Prevention Team to ensure an excellent and high quality service is provided to citizens.
