Job description
We are looking for full time permanent Laboratory Technician with an industrial food production skill to support our team in the day to day running of the business, The Laboratory Technician will be trained on sampling, testing, measuring, and analysing in cooperation with the rest of our laboratory team.
Key responsibilities for the role
- No aspects of this role require any scientific qualification or experience, this is a post for those who like to be busy with their hands and full training is given.
- Preparing Food, Water, Environmental Swab samples for analysis including weighing and performing serial dilutions.
- To maintain accurate sample records relating to incubation times of the Main Laboratory procedure.
- Maintain cleanliness and sterility of equipment along with general cleaning duties.

Hours: 40 hours per weeks Monday to Friday/Tuesday to Saturday/ between the hours of 12:30-21:00pm.
Holiday: 28 days paid holiday (including BH) pro rata
For your information there is a Park and Ride (Bristol A4 Portway) at the end of our road (Victoria Road) so we are easily accessible by bus from the city centre. We are the last industrial estate on the right-hand side of Victoria Road before you reach the Port gates. By train there is a small branch line from Temple Meads Station to Portway Park and Ride station, approx. 0.5miles from our location in Avonmouth.
