The Team

Banking & Finance

You will work with clients to provide a full complement of banking and finance legal services - advising borrowers, lenders and sponsors on a variety of debt (and debt-related) transactions, structured finance and securitisation. Transactions vary in size from £1 million to £1 billion; our core market is debt of £20 million to £200 million.

You'll work collaboratively with colleagues across the firm - corporate, real estate and tax - acting for banks, building societies, debt and pension funds, and other financial institutions, alongside numerous PLCs and large corporate clients around the world.

Key clients include:

HSBC, Metlife, Lloyds Banking Group, National Express Group, Beechbrook Capital LLP, DRC, Natwest, Santander, National Australia Bank, Investec, and Gravis Capital Partners.

What you'll need

• Relevant experience working on Banking & Finance matters.
• Be a strong team player, with excellent interpersonal skills
• Able to manage a complex and varied workload effectively
• Be self-motivated and willing to learn
• Must be a SRA or Law Society of Scotland registered lawyer
