Job Introduction

This is an exciting time to join the West of England Combined Authority. We are seeking to appoint a Knowledge & Information Manager to join the PMO in the Infrastructure Directorate. 

This is a fantastic opportunity to help deliver critical transport infrastructure projects that are helping our region to grow, addressing some of our climate change problems, and improving our transport networks. We are delivering with our partners over £1bn of infrastructure projects in rail, walking, cycling, transport technology and bus services. Your key responsibilities in this role would be to ensure a focus on delivering the priorities of the Metro Mayor by:

  • Ensuring projects and programmes across the portfolio have fit for purpose knowledge management, document management and processes.
  • Lead on the Infrastructure Directorate’s knowledge management approach for project, programme and portfolio management.
  • Manager the Infrastructure Directorate’s tools, templates, guidance, software, and systems.
  • Run the design and delivery of a programme of high-quality P3M staff development activities, ensuring continuous improvement and supporting the development of skills and capability across the Directorate’s Project Profession.
  • Establish and manage the lessons learnt process an analysis, and the knowledge capture process from projects, programmes and portfolios.
  • Manage the Directorate’s project, programme and portfolio knowledge management sites.
