Job Requirements/Description

Part-Time: (18.75 hours per week)

Salary: £25,119 (pro rata) plus benefits

We have a rewarding opportunity available for a *Female Human Resources Administrator to join our team in Bristol. This role is part time (18.75 hours per week) and is a one year fixed term contract role. The hours to be worked are ideally Monday – Friday from 1.15pm – 5.00pm.

In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £25,119 (this salary will be pro rata for the hours worked) plus benefits.

The successful candidate will provide a comprehensive and confidential HR administration service to the Organisation and will assist with the administration of all aspects of recruitment, training and department administration.

Key duties and responsibilities of our *Female HR Administrator:

  • To assist with the administration of all aspects of the recruitment process for new staff including placing adverts, co-ordinating the recruitment process and undertaking all relevant correspondence including preparing offer letters and contracts, reference requests and DBS checks
  • Maintain computerised and manual records for staff including personnel files, processing DBS checks annual leave, and sickness records
  • To administer the induction and probation processes
  • To organise training as directed including booking places, venues accommodation and catering
  • Maintain up to date training records
  • Keep the HR database (Sage HR) up to date with new starters, changes to job titles, holiday changes and leavers information
  • Deal with routine HR queries from staff/HR inbox or refer to the appropriate person
  • Take minutes of confidential meetings as required

What we are looking for in our ideal *Female HR Administrator

  • Excellent standard of literacy, numeracy and accuracy
  • Experience of working in HR administration
  • Experience of utilising and implementing HR databases (Sage HR)
  • Excellent IT skills including a working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point
  • Highly developed interpersonal and team working skills
  • Awareness of confidentiality issues and ability to handle sensitive issues
