Job Requirements/Description

There never has been a more exciting time to join us; University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust and Weston Area Health Trust have joined to become one organisation. Our newly merged Trust has a combined workforce of over 13,000 staff, aiming to deliver exceptional local services for local people and specialist services across the South West.

The Department of General Anaesthesia sits within the Division of Surgery; however, the wider anaesthesia service bridges four clinical divisions of UHBW: Surgery (general anaesthesia and critical care), Specialised Services (cardiac anaesthesia), Women’s and Children’s (paediatric and obstetric anaesthesia) and Weston. The department of anaesthesia is seeking consultants in general anaesthesia to join the team based at the Bristol Royal Infirmary. The successful applicant will join a group of 45 substantive consultants within the general anaesthesia group. The post will be offered at 10 PAs.
