Job Requirements/Description

Hours: can be adapted to suit successful candidates (up to 37 hours per week)

Shifts to cover: evenings Mon-Fri 5pm-10pm and/or daytime Sat & Sun 9am-10pm

Full time or part time hours available to cover this working pattern

The Role

The aim of a Support Worker is to deliver person-centred support to clients who are on a journey to recovery and who live in our High Support Accommodation. Working in a psychologically, adversity and trauma informed way, this includes:

  • Holding a caseload of clients who you meet 1:1 at least weekly
  • Developing and facilitating groups and activities for clients
  • Developing support plans and working creatively with clients to support them to meet their goals
  • Maintaining detailed case notes
  • Helping clients to develop skills to move towards independent living
  • Helping clients to maximise their income
  • Championing hope and courage
  • Responding to incidents and ensuring dligigent reporting
  • Promoting the safety and wellbeing of clients
