Junior Urban Designer

An exciting opportunity for a Junior Urban Designer to join a nationally established Architectural Practice based in Bristol to join their talented design team.

My Clients, a highly reputable practice based in Bristol are searching for a Junior Urban Designer - Architectural Designer that can collaborate with Clientele to create sustainable and successful developments to really enhance communities environments and make a positive impact.

The successful Junior Urban Designer will require to have demonstrated experience working within a private practice or consultancy that also possesses the ability to interpret local authority guidance whilst working on planning systems.

Essential Requirements for candidates:

• Recognised Degree, Masters or Diploma in Urban Design / Architecture / Built Environment
• Post qualification UK working experience
• Working experience within detailed design - RMA.
• Proficiency in CAD and Sketchup (Essential)
• Working knowledge of Vectorworks (Essential)
• In depth knowledge of planning systems with the ability to interpret design guidance
• Proven ability to work well independently or as part of a team.
• Possess strong communication skills and have a meticulous attention to detail.

A competitive salary will be on offer for the successful Junior Urban Designer likely to be in the region of 25,000 - 30,000 dependent on experience. My Clients are open to flexible working arrangements, have fantastic career development prospects and also a very generous benefits package.
