Graduate M&A Analyst

Hours: Full Time - 40 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

Start date: December 2020

Location: Windmill Hill Business Park, Swindon. (From home during pandemic)

The Company

Gensmile is a venture capital-backed company building a new dental group through business acquisitions. The Company has experienced rapid growth over the last 5 years and is actively looking to grow through additional acquisitions and organic development of the 28 dental sites it owns already. The Company has revenue of over £30 million and is highly profitable.

The Role

This role will provide unique experience and insight in to the business acquisitions process. Gensmile has strong deal flow and will at any time have acquisitions at all stages of the deal process. You can expect to gain a depth of experience across the following activities:
* Proactive sourcing of acquisition targets
* Financial modelling
* Business valuation
* Business analysis of targets
* Deal negotiation
* Raising capital
* Legal and financial due diligence
* Sale and purchase agreements

Within the acquisitions team you will be working directly with our M&A Manager, Stefan Putter and CEO, Simon Turton. Stefan is ACA trained and specialises in financial modelling, while Simon has 15 years of healthcare investing experience both in Private Equity and Venture Capital with Warburg Pincus and Index Ventures respectively.

Qualifications

We are looking for an exceptional graduate with a desire for a career in banking, venture capital, private equity or finance, and a genuine interest in entrepreneurial business.

Candidates should have a 2:1 or higher from a Russell Group university. You will need a UCAS tariff of 120 points for your top 3 A Levels (or equivalent) and achieved at least a grade A in English Language and at least a grade A in Math in your GCSEs (or equivalent).

While the successful candidate will need to be highly numerate and be able to use Excel, they will also need to be able to communicate effectively in both the written and spoken word.

Experience of the workplace would be an advantage but is not essential if we find the high calibre individual we seek.
