The role of Employment Training & Education (ETE) coordinator is a comprehensive administration position, managing the co-ordination of all ETE events including recording, monitoring and setting up training events and ensuring staff are kept well informed.

The role involves working closely with our responsible officers to ensure a good understanding of available provisions leading to increased referral numbers and attendance, ensuring results are recorded and progression routes established.

Key Responsibilities

The successful post holder will support the strategic development and co-ordination of all aspects of Employment, Training and Education delivery.

The key responsibilities include:

* Coordinating group events to include the arrangement of venues, delivery staff, preparing documents and arranging recording equipment to ensure quality assurance standard are met.

* Setting up and monitoring internal and external delivery providers, negotiating with providers on the allocation of provisions, training venues and other associated costs.

* Managing ETE referrals and providing information to the relevant staff regarding the arrangements to ensure Service Users are able to attend and participate in groups.

* Working closely with Employment & Skills Managers and Employment & Skills Delivery staff to undertake scheduling and forward planning to ensure the delivery of ETE interventions are well planned and meet the needs and demands of service users.

* Implementing quality assurance standards and on-going evaluation, to ensure continuous quality improvements are met.

* Devolved responsibility for the ETE training budget, raising any issues/concerns with the ETE Manager and be accountable for the monitoring and processing of all invoices.

* Producing and interpreting data on all ETE delivery.

Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the Criminal Justice System and the work of the Community Rehabilitation Company.

We are looking for an experienced administrator with the ability to make informed decisions and provide guidance to others. You must be able to work as part of a team and under own initiative, think creatively and ensure deadlines are met by being organised to meet competing demands and prioritise workloads.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically with a wide and diverse audience and develop effective working relationships.

You will require competent IT skills with the ability to research, analyse and interpret data.

Salary: £22,924 - £28,200 per annum (dependent on experience)

Location: Bristol

Hours: Full time - 37 hours per week (Mon-Fri)
