Are you a self-driven Environmenatal, Health and Safety Manager with experience in the Building Services industry? Do you have previous experience of working within an H&S role with a NEBOSH qualification?

About the role…

My client specialise within the ventilation hygiene and water treatment sector, with a fantastic reputation in their industry.

Due to continued growth the operations team are now looking for a Health and Safety Manager to join their team. You will be responsible for proactively coordinating and ensuring that all aspects of the business are being carried out safely and within legal guidelines.

Ideally you will be based a commutable distance to Bristol as you will be required in the companies' head office 2-3 times per week.

Main duties….

* Coordinate and carry out timely completion of risk assessments, site audits and visits.

* Monitor and document Health and Safety training records including planning and coordination of training with HR

* Responsible for reviewing processes and recommending appropriate actions when incidents occur

* Work with external health and safety consultants to provide best practice and ensure compliance

* Full COSHH management within the company.

* Managing and developing the Health and Safety plan and implementation

* Regular equipment testing/calibration and arranging the service arrangements.

* Liaise with customers on site and build relationships

* Working closely with the Compliance/Quality/ISO 9001 representatives and assisting with the internal audits where required

* Organised, with attention to detail

Experience & Qualifications….

* NEBOSH - Essential

* Previous experience in working with a environmental health and safety role

* Excellent time management skills - prioritise tasks and work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.

* Ability to analysis data and produce reports / graphs in variety of formats.

* Experience in HVAC system installation, maintenance, commissioning, testing and air hygiene is desirable but not essential

* Full driving licence - as you will be travelling to sites across the UK
