Our client is a leader in the manufacture and design of bespoke handcrafted kitchens. All kitchens are made from scratch at our factory, using the latest technology whilst incorporating traditional handcrafted techniques.

They are currently seeking to recruit a Kitchen Installer based in Swindon.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake the remedial work and occasionally full installs on kitchens for retail customers using a range of hand and power tools.
• Deliver installations which fully comply with customer's specification and standards, whilst managing time effectively to ensure jobs are completed on time and in full.
• Collect and deliver the product to the customer
• Responsible for a range of remedial actions to kitchen furniture and receive sign-off.
• Maintain full compliance with all customer and company Health & Safety requirements
• Adhere to defined communication channels and escalation routes at all times.
• Offer feedback to the installation team and wider business departments as required.
• Maintain company tools/equipment and stock sufficient consumables to successfully carry out remedial work.
• Pro-actively communicate with all members of the warehouse, scheduling, installations and customer support teams.
• Ensure that customers are satisfied with your work prior to departure and try to resolve any issues in a timely manner ensuring customer satisfaction is achieved.
• Remain customer focussed at all times helping to uphold our reputation for high-quality work and exceptional customer service.
• Aware of personal performance through regular appraisals as outlined by the Manager.

Work Experience & Key Skills Required

• Career experience in kitchen fitting is essential. References from a similar role will be required.
• Experience of working in occupied consumer homes where there is a high degree of focus on the quality finish of the product.
• DBS checking will be essential to employment.
• Full UK clean driving licence essential. Must be confident driving a long wheel base van.
• Must be flexible on working hours and be prepared to travel to various locations to meet the demands of the business.
• Good numeracy skills and high levels of accuracy essential.
• Can demonstrate an ability to read, understand and translate technical drawings for installation purposes.
• Proven experience of analysing and diagnosing problems and suggesting effective solutions.
• Must be comfortable operating a smartphone and 'app' software which forms the main part of the role compliance.
• Must be versatile and demonstrate the necessary etiquette to work in customer homes.
• Proven experience in a customer-facing role, delivering high-quality customer service and dealing with customer service issues/complaints.
• Must be physically fit as lifting is a key part of the role.
• Experience of thinking on own initiative and self-motivated working to prioritise own workload and achieve set deadlines.
• Must have a pro-active mentality and positive attitude which is required to forge key relationships with internal and external customers
