Working from home based anywhere in the UK, Europe or America. All necessary equipment and tools supplied by the company. Providing technical experience to the technical sales teams and dealing with the customer by email and phone sorting any technical queries that arise. This is much more a management role and a technical role as apposed to a sales role.
London/Birmingham/Bristol/Manchester/Leeds etc...
A Product Manager now required to work from home and can be based anywhere in the UK or Europe or America. The company is a world leader and has an established customer base worldwide.
This is an important and dynamic position within the company, as it manages the main point of contact for existing and potential customers.
The role will require a broad range of customer interaction, over a variety of topics, with considerable opportunity for personal career progression, and professional experience.
Manage existing staff worldwide and deal with planning and campaigns.
The role will
Implement, install and improve sales systems.
Manage the internal sales engineers and distributors to achieve required business levels
Understand the current sales pipeline and customers' requirements and issues.
Investigate and discuss any issue with customers by phone or email to understand customers' underlying requirements, and to identify possible future opportunities for product improvements. Customers can be anywhere in the world.
Ensure that customers receive answers to their commercial and technical questions promptly and clearly.
Researching organisations to find new customers and identify who makes the decisions
Ideal candidate
Electrical/Electronic degree so can thoroughly understand the companies markets and products - Knowledge of basic AC power theory, Transformers
Experience of the transformer and wound component market (specifically for electronics market 0-600 V) , or general electronic test equipment sales such as test and measurement.
IT literate
An understanding of installing systems and pre sales testing.
Excellent communication skills, both internal in managing staff and externally with customers.
Able to engage and empathise with customers.
Hands on approach to technical questions.
Positive attitude and initiative in understanding obstacles and overcoming objections.
Ideally suits candidate working from home
Reports to Sales and Marketing manager
