The Company:

Our client is a leading global service company specialising in the delivery of subsea solutions to the renewables and hydrocarbon industries. They provide bespoke solutions to clients, from feasibility through to installation and operation.

The Job:

On behalf of our client we are seeking an experienced Office Manager who has extensive experience of travel booking to join their team based in central Bristol on a 9 month maternity cover contract to start January 2020.

Duties will include:

* General day-to-day duties in the office including stationery control, post, petty cash and related activities.
* Making travel and accommodation arrangements for internal staff and visitors; including the correct filing and record keeping of travel documents
* General administration of the company's HR function including drafting letters, monitoring absence, recording holiday, coordinating recruitment activities and maintaining staff personnel records.
* Ad-hoc support duties to the Managing Director, to include international travel bookings and diary management
* Minute taking as required
* In conjunction with the QHSE Manager, ensure the office environment meets QHSE standards.
* Manage supplier contracts and accounts for running of the office.
* Managing on-going changes to the office and other Company facilities.
* General administrative support as required.

The Person:

For this role our client is looking for someone with the following skills and experience:

* Previous office management experience
* Excellent numerical and Microsoft Office skills
* Some HR administration experience is desirable
* Eye for detail, quality control, quality assurance and analytical working is paramount for this key role
* Ability to prioritise workloads, coordinate and organise all office tasks.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills for working with project teams and suppliers as well as internal staff and contractors
* Ability to work under pressure, motivate and drive continuous improvement and new ways of working.

The Hours:

Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm, 40 hours per week

The Location:

Central Bristol, no car parking.

The Salary:

£25,000
