Customer Service Advisor (full time, permanent contract) - an opportunity to work within the branch network, providing support to our customers, head office and agencies.

The Position - We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Customer Service Advisor team. The team pride themselves on offering exceptional customer service, so a professional and friendly approach to customer relations is essential, as well as a good telephone manner and a desire to build customer relationships and loyalty.

Duties include day to day administrative tasks, data entry, working with till systems, banking transactions, and customer service. The starting salary we are offering is equivalent to £17,650 per annum.

We offer a competitive package working in a supportive team which genuinely feels like one big family.

For employees we also offer the annual equivalent of 25 days holiday (plus public holidays) a generous pension scheme and after a qualifying period, death in service and health care benefits.

The hours are 9am-5pm Monday to Friday, and 9am-1pm on Saturday (2 Saturday's per month).

Qualifications and Experience:
The ideal candidate will have good computer literacy, as well as experience in a customer facing role. Previous experience in the financial sector and/or administrative roles is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided. Motivation, confidence, and a passion for customer service are key.

The Location: Bath Building Society Head Office is based on Queen Square in the centre of Bath. This is a great place to live and work because not just because it is a world heritage site, a haven for foodies with cracking pubs and bars but has green and luscious water all around.

Being in the centre of Bath it is only a short walk to the train station and bus station. By train you can then be in London in 90 minutes and Bristol in 15 minutes.
