On behalf of our client we are seeking a hands-on Team Leader for their hospitality and reception team Within this role you will be responsible for all aspects of reception and hospitality service delivery, working alongside the team to deliver the overall service. Managing a team of reception and hospitality assistants, responsible for reception, switchboard, marketing events, travel bookings and hospitality services. This is managing a team of 5 and will cover 2 sites based in central Bristol

Within this role you will be developing an on-site business that develops and maintains the highest levels of customer service. This role will involve maintaining a productive work environment, while implementing an atmosphere that fosters personal and professional growth. The team leader will be tasked to advance the level of customer service executed throughout the operation and to ensure that the team participate in wider First Impression activities.

Within this role you will act as a department 'coach' and assist in the development of the staff by helping employees look for opportunities to develop and succeed in their job.

Key responsibilities

Manage all aspects of service provided to clients and visitors, ensuring that agreed service levels are maintained and exceeded where possible, continually looking for ways in which service levels can be improved

Directly supervise, tracking all aspects of performance, giving regular feedback to Business Services Manager

Assisting the Business Services Manager with the compilation of monthly reporting, and to actively participate in the Account Management Programme

Manage the staffing resource available to ensure that most effective use of the team is made

Report problems to the Business Services Manager and resolve without impacting on service

Track data and information and provide regular reports

Ensure that First impression Assistants provide excellent customer communication, and promote an environment which strives to provide service excellence

Ensure that housekeeping equipment is regularly checked, and that equipment is properly operated and maintained

Ensure that the workplace is maintained in a tidy and well presented manner at all times

Undertake other duties as assigned by the Business Services Manager

To oversee the on site Health and Safety co-ordinator to ensure your site if fully compliant

Person specification

Very well presented, with excellent communication skills

Experience of supervising a team

Strong customer focus

Able to prioritise, problem solve and deliver under pressure

Is flexible and committed to providing excellent customer service

This role is based in central Bristol and paying £20,000
