The role:
This is a new role and the right person will play an important part in maintaining the smooth running of the office, whilst managing a small team of administrators specialising in Placements, Finance, Reviews and Panel. The successful candidate will be able to juggle a fluctuating workload and be willing to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in.

The ideal candidate will greet every challenge with enthusiasm and, be the calm amongst the storm whilst championing effective administration processes and procedures; supporting others to maintain these.

You will also be the welcoming face of all who visit the office, keep our house in order, this will include ordering refreshments, helping organise team lunches and keeping it all running. No job too big or small, for your enthusiasm and initiative, along with an eye for detail as strong as a Hawk.

Duties will include:
Leading and developing a team of administrators
Managing and auditing our Fostering database
Managing the matching and placement of Young People.
Oversee the set-up of IT equipment
Champion a solid team
Be the first port of call with our suppliers and service providers
Keep our house in order
The go-to-person everyone!
Identifying and developing new ways of working
Ad-hoc support - always welcomed with a "can do" attitude.

The person:
Our client is looking for an experienced Office Manager ideally from an or Local Authority social care background or an Independent Foster Care Agency.

The person will have at least 3 years' experience of managing people and a minimum of 5 years broad administration experience and hold or be working towards qualifications in Management and or Business Administration.

The Salary: Up to £23k DOE
The location: Bristol outskirts with on road parking
The Hours: Monday to Friday between 9am - 5pm (1 hours for lunch)
