My client is a leading European energy trading house for commodities in both their physical and derivative forms. As one of Europe's strongest competitors in the gas industry, we optimise RWE's entire non-regulated gas business. Their headquarters boast Europe's largest energy trading floor, complementing additional sites in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the Americas.

They are looking for a new and committed team member.

Your tasks:
* Lead a multi-cultural team (legal and functional line management responsibility) across international locations and assure close cooperation with Cloud, Datacenter Services, Networks, IT Security,
* Collaboration Tools, Architecture and Application teams
* Manage and maintain a detailed knowledge of both current and emerging Datacentre Operations technology developments and roadmap Analysis of strategic datacenter infrastructure and further service development
* Coordinate and manage team members and external service providers according to established ITIL processes and service level agreements
* Technical documentation and continuous service improvement
* Develop your team according to strategic alignment of datacenter operations
* Ensure all standard ITIL operating procedures are adhered to namely Incident, Problem and Change disciplines

Your profile:
* Several years of experience in working internationally, leading teams with resources across multiple countries and languages
* Good knowledge of and experience in applying ITIL processes, the DevOps model, end-to- end application operations processes, asset and configuration management, incident and problem management, request fulfilment, disaster recovery/IT Service continuity management, operational governance of 3rd party suppliers for fulfilling required SLAs, development and refinement of relevant SOPs, project management
* Lead & manage change, thinking creatively 'outside the box' to deliver innovative and cost effective strategies and roadmaps that work end-to- end and can be adapted as required
* Experience of managing various and conflicting business demands
* Experience in managing and steering 3rd party providers
* Strong leadership and communication skills, fluent in English and German and willingness to travel
