The role:
As an Administration Assistant you will provide administrative support to the Sales, Operations teams. This includes the collation of data from a number of sources to enable the write up and production of reports, ideally you will be keen to get to grips with industry terminology and want to gain an understanding of sampling and tracking results and feeding information back to Account Managers, Customers and Surveyors.

Key responsibilities include;
Updating/creating Excel databases & schedules
Tracking, collating data and producing and checking variety of reports
Co-ordination of samples to include logging, processing, reporting and invoicing
Escalating queries, including positive samples through appropriate channels
Liaising with customers, technicians and Account Managers for all aspects of reports
Administration of customer portals/databases where required
Interest in learning technical terms/processes associated with the business
General scanning, filing and administration as well as providing support to cover for holidays

The Person: Previous administrative experience is essential
A good level of literacy, and Excel / IT skills required. Excellent customer protocol and happy to look at implementing / changing systems. There is large volume of report writing but for the right person the opportunity is there to make this role your own.

Confident communicator face to face and by telephone
Excellent attention to detail
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Proactive working approach with a 'can do' attitude
Organised, able to prioritise and meet deadlines in a busy environment
Maths and English Language GCSE (or equivalent), grade C and above
Computer and IT Systems literate: Excel, Word

The Salary: £18,000

The location: Aztec West with parking

The Hours: Mon - Thurs 8.15am - 4.45pm (45 mins lunch) & Friday 8.15am - 4.30pm (1-hour lunch)
