The Company:

Our client are experienced security specialists in Bristol and the South West. They are experts in their field and their staff are highly trained and motivated and have an in-depth of knowledge in security.

The Job:

We are delighted to be assisting our client with their requirement for a Warehouse Operative for their business based in South Bristol. This role will include:

* Checking in stock and allocating goods to sales orders
* Dispatching goods by courier/post
* Picking goods for collection and installation orders
* Keeping warehouse secure and in good order at all times
* Controlling the stock.

Additional responsibilities will include:

- To ensure goods received are correct and match the advice note and our order

- To allocate to sales orders or put into stock

- To contact customers to notify them that their goods have arrived

- To update ProfIT+ system when goods are not received and inform relevant person and supplier

- To return any faulty or incorrect goods to supplier and ensure collection where necessary

- To carry out weekly rolling stock-takes.

- To package and send customer orders via courier or post

- To dispatch general office post

- To log recorded and special delivery items

- To be responsible for keeping the loading bay tidy.

- To clean work area every day and keep in good order

- In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the job holder is required to perform, from time to time, any other reasonable duties that may be assigned by their line manager.

The Person:

For this role, it's essential you have gained experience in a Warehouse Administration /Co-ordination role previously and are able to:

* Keep warehouse secure and in good order at all times
* Inform customers of goods received
* Inform department of any goods not received
* Ensure all returns are dealt with promptly using Returns Procedure
* Jobs to be ready on time as agreed with customers and internal departments
* Carry out rolling stock-takes weekly.
