We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quality Manager to join a leading Manufacturer in the Westbury area, in Wiltshire.

The Role:

Reporting into the Operations Director, and playing a key role in the Senior Management team, the Quality Manager will manage the entire Quality function.

You will be required to develop improvements to the Quality Management Systems and assist the Management Team in continuously improving performance.

This challenge will appeal to an ambitious hands on Quality professional with experience in an ISO 9001 manufacturing environment and familiar with introducing a range of quality systems and tools.

In return a competitive salary £50,000 - £60,000 DOE will be offered to the successful candidate

Core working Hours - Mon - Fri 8.30 - 5.30pm

Location - Wiltshire

Quality Manager - Key Responsibilities:

* Daily responsibility for all quality and environmental matters
* Work as part of the senior management team to identify and define long term strategy for the business.
* Plan, develop and implement business management systems (BMS) to meet the latest revisions of ISO 9001; ISO 14001; Legislative & Customer Requirements. Manage, monitor, evaluate and coordinate the BMS to enhance effective and efficient operation and improvement
* Ensure that processes needed for the BMS are established, implemented and maintained
* Liaise with external parties on matters relating to the BMS
* Manage investigation of non conformance, assisting in identification of root cause and development of corrective action plans
* Monthly reporting on the performance of the Business Management System
* Take the lead in IIP and other continuous improvement activities
* Manage annual training programs of all employees in Quality, Environmental and H&S.
* Update and report site KPI's to management team.
* Setup inter site KPI monitoring to promote group continuous improvement.
* Review and update Process FMEA's following NC's and improvements.

The Person:

We are looking for an individual with an eye for detail and a passion for Quality Management, and Continuous improvements.

We want to hear from you if you can demonstrate:

* Minimum 3-5 years Quality Management experience in a manufacturing environment
* Experience in an ISO 9001 manufacturing environment and familiar with introducing a range of quality systems and tools.
* Experience working with rubber compounds / Plastics would be an advantage
* Applicants should live within a commutable distance from Westbury, Wiltshire.
