Our client has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to join their organisation. This is an exciting and varied role and you will be joining a passionate and dedicated team.

Based at offices in Shepton Mallet, our client works for a range of residential and commercial clients from businesses, housing associations, letting agents, registered charities through to private residential clients undertaking property renovation and maintenance works throughout the region. Due to the continued success of the business and award of new contracts they are looking to recruit an Operations Manager.

Our client is seeking applications from candidates with similar experience and background. You should be able to demonstrate the following:

* Proven ability to supervise & manage line managers, operatives, storeman and sub-contractors
* Experience in the property maintenance sector would be an advantage
* Ability to prepare tender submissions
* Recognised industry Health and Safety qualification and sound knowledge of current legislation
* Experience of National Housing Federation, Schedule Of Rates (SOR's) would be a significant advantage
* Well organised & able to work independently and as part of the team and work well under pressure
* Good management skills and confident to make decisions and give advice to customers and staff
* Able to communicate effectively and prioritise workload
* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
* Sound knowledge of IT - Internet, Outlook, Excel, Word
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Assist the Managing Director, Director and Office Manager in the everyday operation and running of the business
* You must have a full and clean driving licence.

Hours of work 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday
