Job Requirements/Description

Are you passionate about technical training and composites? We are seeking a Technical Trainer to create and deliver high-quality training courses across a range of complex and non-complex subjects.

In this role your primary responsibility will be to deliver engaging and informative training courses. You will also ensure that the materials and facilities required to deliver courses are maintained, and you will create bespoke courses to meet customer needs, using your own expertise and the support of Subject Matter Experts at the NCC.

This is a hands-on role that requires excellent communication, adaptability, and problem-solving skills. Some of our courses are delivered at customer sites, so you'll have the opportunity to travel.

If you have a background in composites, manufacturing, or materials engineering and are looking for an exciting opportunity to advance your career in technical training, we want to hear from you.

So, what are we looking for?

  • Excellent composites manufacturing, assembly, and repair skills.
  • Knowledge of composite design and sustainability skills are also highly desirable.
  • Experience in at least one composite sector or strong knowledge across multiple sectors.
  • Ability to create and deliver high-quality technical training content.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, and generally comfortable with using IT.
  • Able to periodically work away at customer sites, including overnight stays.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex technical information effectively in both written and verbal formats.

What do we offer in return?

Annual salary reviews, company paid private medical insurance, up to 12.5% employer pension contribution, great people, honorary staff status at the University of Bristol. With a genuine focus on wellbeing, EDI and learning and development this is a chance to build your career in a thriving R&D facility with a bright future.
