Job Title: Recruitment Consultant - Social and Housing

Location: Clifton

Salary: 25,000 base salary plus commission

Hours: Monday to Thursday: 8:45 am - 5:15 pm; Friday: 8:45 am - 4:30 pm

With over 30 years of experience in the social housing and social care sectors, my client is seeking a Recruitment Consultant specializing in these fields.
My client pride their selves on their deep understanding of the industry and their ability to provide tailored support to their clients, ensuring their needs are met with precision and care.

Responsibilities:

Client Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients including local authorities, housing associations, and social landlords across the UK.

Candidate Sourcing: Utilize your extensive network and resources to identify and attract qualified candidates for various roles within the social housing and social care sectors.

Assessment and Placement: Screen, interview, and assess candidates to ensure they meet the ethical standards and qualifications required by our clients. Facilitate the placement process, ensuring a seamless experience for both candidates and clients.

Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and market demands to effectively advise clients and candidates on market conditions and opportunities.

Sales and Negotiation: Negotiate terms and agreements with clients and candidates, demonstrating a keen ability to close deals while maintaining positive relationships.

Requirements:

Experience: Previous experience in recruitment, particularly within the social housing or social care sectors, is highly desirable, if you do not have this we can train you !

Industry Knowledge: A deep understanding of the social housing and social care sectors, including relevant regulations, trends, and challenges.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for building rapport with clients and candidates.

Problem-Solving Abilities: Demonstrated ability to solve problems creatively and efficiently, particularly in matching candidates with suitable roles.

Ethical Standards: Commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards in recruitment practices.

Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Sales Drive: Motivated by achieving and exceeding targets, with a natural flair for sales and negotiation.
