• 1 Part-Time Team Manager Role (2.5 or 3 days per week, Fixed Term until 31.03.25).

About the Role:

Are you a social work manager or an experienced social worker with strong supervisory skills? Are you seeking a management position in Bristol? If you possess excellent management abilities and proven ability in Child Protection and Court Work, we want to hear from you! We offer a friendly office culture with good support from your sercice manager, 2 deputy service managers and 9 team manager colleagues.

Each small team comprises a Team Manager, three full-time Social Workers, a full-time Family Support Worker, and a full-time Administrator. You will manage these five colleagues and lead the practice. Our office-based environment, without hot-desking, offers ample opportunity to build strong relationships with your team and other managers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, support, and supervise one of the small teams based at Symes House in Bristol.
• Work closely with children in need, children on a child protection plan, and family re-unification, as well as undertake court work.
• Utilise the Signs of Safety model and collaborate with families and professionals to create positive changes for children.
• Embed systemic social work principles in practice.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with co-located Family in Focus and YOS services.
