Full Time, Fixed Term for 12 months.

This is an opportunity to be part of an exciting new service within Adult Social Care and in partnership with Mental Health Services. Innovative times are happening and if you believe in a holistic approach to supporting individuals who are struggling with their mental health and would like to work closely with multiple partners and be involved in forming a brand-new service then this is the job for you.

We are creating a new Mental Health and Wellbeing Integrated Network Team which will help people receive the care they need, quickly and close to home. The new model will bring together Primary and Secondary care, Local Authority and Voluntary sector services, into new combined Mental Health Teams. The Social Work role will involve working with professionals from different organisations, but you will also have strong links with the Adult Social Care and the community teams in North & West or South Bristol (depending on location) will provide you with support and regular supervision.

The team aim to support individuals with complex mental health needs, who can fall between the gaps of current pathways, making sure they can have the personalised support they need with services around them.

The Social Work role would be integral to providing an excellent service by ensuring quick access to personalised mental health and social care support for improved experiences and outcomes for our citizens.

As a Social Worker who already has post-qualifying experience, you’ll enjoy the challenges that come with practicing in this role in a busy city.
