Habitat Management, a member of the RSK Group, is looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager on a full time, permanent basis. This role will be predominantly site-based and based out of our Avonmouth, Bristol office, covering the South and South West.
RSK Habitat Management is a UK-based organisation providing practical ecological and nature-based solutions to create a legacy for wildlife and stakeholders and achieve biodiversity net gain. From vegetation clearance to landscape-scale habitat creation, our in-house team of ecologists, reinforced by a fleet of specialist equipment, provides practical ecological contracting solutions in highly regulated sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- To be the primary manager responsible for the safe, smooth and profitable delivery of our projects allocated to you by the contracts management team
- You will be responsible to match or beat the projects delegated budgets and manage the delivery providing a service for our clients that is on time, on/or better than budget and to the required specification with zero defects
- Ensure that site records are kept and saved accurately including daily diaries, POWRA, PUWER check sheets and records of completed works
- Ensure that all financial records & invoices from suppliers are collated and match the PO’s raised so we have an accurate real time account of project expenditure
- Manage, including in some instances writing, the production and implementation of RAMS and associated safety critical documentation, in line with company and client procedures.
- Feed into the compilation and production of high quality tenders and quotations to win new works from existing clients
Person Specification
- A degree or HND in an Environmental/Construction related discipline;(desirable)
- Previous experience in the Ecological Contracting sector
- Previous, demonstrable and strong experience in Project Management of site-based operations
- Entrepreneurial outlook and drive
- IOSH Managing Safely (desirable)
- SMSTS
- CSCS card; (Gold/Black)
- Full driving licence is essential
Salary and Benefits
- £30,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience
