In support of our ongoing journey to strengthen and automate our financial control environment more generally, the individual will also provide guidance and expertise on risk and control matters across the end-to-end business processes.

Day to day you’ll be;

  • Shaping and leading the SOX business partnering team for GFS & FDAO, working with the key stakeholders across the GFS & FDAO finance teams, as well as our Group Finance Risk, Audit & CCOR risk partners.
  • Critically reviewing our existing SOX approach, build on the quality and type of controls; identifying, recommending and delivering on areas for improvement.
  • Ensuring our SOX scope is regularly refreshed to reflect business and regulatory change.
  • Co-ordinating and planning risk and control assessments, mapping of key processes and controls, remediation actions, and provide guidance across the end to end GFS & FDAO finance processes.
  • Providing guidance, reviewing and challenging to process and control owners in the application of the Risk Management framework for the GFS & FDAO finance teams.
  • Delivering the Finance SOX strategy, driving business strategic requirements and building partnerships with senior internal and external stakeholders.
