You’ll be at the centre of the team delivering high quality renewable installations for our fantastic customers. Become a Plan Zero Hero!”

Where you’ll work:

At OVO, we understand that a one size fits all approach doesn’t work for everyone. That’s why we created the OVO Way of Flexibility.

Everyone belongs at OVO

At OVO, we are on a mission to solve one of humanity's biggest challenges, the climate crisis. And we know it takes all of us to change the world. That's why we need diverse people from all abilities, gender identities, ethnicities, ages, sexual orientations, life experiences and backgrounds to join us.

Teamworking for the planet

Everything we do here spins around Plan Zero. So, naturally, the team you’ll be joining plays a gigantic role in making that happen. Here’s how:

You’ll be working as part of the Zero Carbon Living (ZCL) Delivery team, which manages the installation phase of our customer journey for Solar PV, ASHP systems and any other renewable product. The team specialises in contractor management and ensures that works take place to the highest standards of health & safety and quality, whilst providing a fantastic customer experience.

As part of the team of installation coordinators, you will be a central point of contact between internal teams and contractors delivering renewable works to OVO members.

This role in a nutshell:

The focus of this role is to coordinate several of the key steps between an agreed design being issued to a contractor and a customer receiving their handover pack, after the installation has been completed. This includes managing timescales on key deliverables and exchanging information between our contractors and our colleagues on internal teams.

You will work closely with the Delivery Installation Project Managers, wider ZCL team, and the contractors delivering the measures to help ensure a smooth customer experience through the customer journey.

The role will also include being a central coordinator during the process of onboarding prospective new contractors, as part of the team’s remit to manage both existing and potential installation options.

Your key outcomes will be:

  • Successfully coordinating the onboarding process for prospective new contractors, through liaising with OVO teams and external companies
  • Managing the CRM steps through the delivery phase of the customer journey
  • Coordinating the full journey of renewable system installation
  • Owning the post-installation pack review and ensuring that SLAs are maintained
  • Being a central role within the delivery department, coordinating installations, people and events

Within your first 6 months month you’ll:

  • Learn how we identify and approve new contractors to work with us in delivering directly to customers
  • Get to grips with our existing contractor base and how booking jobs works
  • Start on the path to becoming an expert user of ZOHO, our CRM
  • Be coached on how you feed into managing contractors through the delivery phase
  • Learn how to review the post-installation paperwork and then compile handover pack information
  • Become an integral part of a small but powerful team

You’ll be a successful Installation Coordinator here at OVO if you…

  • Have a passion for delivering the best customer journey for OVO members
  • Are a strong communicator who is confident in liaising with both internal and external parties
  • Enjoy ownership and accountability for your own work, and have the ability to work within agreed SLAs
  • Can be adaptable and quick to respond in a rapidly changing environment
  • Are confident using different technology systems - we use Google suite here
  • Are comfortable managing and prioritising your own workload - and you’ve got outstanding organisational/time management skills!
  • Have an entrepreneurial mindset, the ability to problem solve and a can do attitude with the ability to multitask.
  • Previous experience working within a role that involved coordination across teams or administration of contract delivery is ideal, but not essential
  • A knowledge of domestic renewable energy an idea of the standards relating to these would also assist in being successful within this role

Let’s talk about what’s in it for you

We’ll pay you between £27,000 and £31,500, depending on your specific skills and experience. If your expectations are a little different, have a chat with us!
