Job Title: Construction Administration/Accounts Manager

Location: Swindon, United Kingdom

Salary Range: 30,000 - 40,000 per annum

Our growing construction company based in Swindon is seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Administration/Accounts Manager to join our dynamic team. If you have a strong background in construction administration and finance, specifically with Sage 50 accounts, along with a proven track record in payroll management, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

Oversee and manage financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Proficient use of Sage 50 accounts for day-to-day financial operations.

Preparation and analysis of financial reports.

  1. Payroll Management:
    • Execute end-to-end payroll processes efficiently.
    • Handle all payroll-related duties, including tax compliance and benefits administration.
    • Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer related inquiries.
  1. Construction Administration:
    • Work closely with project managers to track project expenses and financial performance.
    • Maintain organized financial records for construction projects.
    • Collaborate with various departments to streamline administrative processes.
  1. Compliance and Reporting:
    • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and industry standards.
    • Prepare and submit financial reports to management as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in Sage 50 accounts is a must.
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (preferred).

Previous experience in a construction company or related industry.

Familiarity with construction-specific financial challenges and processes.
