Enterprise Architect (Digital) – National Salary up to £87,100. London Salary up to £120,600.

Aviva has an opening for an Enterprise Architect to join our UK team. Reporting directly to the Head of Architecture (Customer & Marketing), you will define and lead on Digital technology direction, while also looking across the Group in line with our customer centric “One Aviva” strategy.

Aviva operates a “smart working” policy meaning that we spend approximately half of our time working in an office this role is based in, London, Bristol, Norwich or York.

A bit about the job:

Accountable for developing & maintaining technology strategy and roadmaps for Aviva’s Digital estate, working closely with senior representatives from our best-in-class business areas as well as taking a broad view across Aviva, you will work with a broad variety of research organisations and suppliers to understand technology trends and select the right foundations for Aviva.

The role will focus on the value that architecture can provide to our customers and the organisation, across technologies, processes, and capability changes, with specific alignment to our Digital strategy, in support of a business-critical change portfolio. We believe that this is a real opportunity for someone to put their stamp on Aviva’s direction, while receiving robust support and investment from our senior leadership.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

• Strong Enterprise Architecture skills, with specific coverage of Digital technologies.
• Recent, relevant, and deep experience in web, app and customer experience technologies.
• Track record of operating at senior levels within a large, regulated business, ideally within Financial Services.
• Financial competence to support development of investment propositions and to inform key design decisions.
• Ability to think long-term strategically and operationally - anticipating future trends/needs.
