We are looking for Oasis Academy Daventry Road’s first ever Vice Principal to play a crucial role in shaping exceptional Behaviour and Attitudes as the Academy grows.
We are looking for an exceptional individual to join our start up Academy in South Bristol.
This is a hugely exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in the journey of this wonderful new academy. We are looking for an individual with passion, presence and the ability to deliver strategic improvement to lead on Behaviour and Attitudes – ensuring that OADR students demonstrate the highest standards. You will lead a skilled and committed pastoral team, working alongside senior colleagues to deliver our aim to provide exceptional education at the heart of the community with our students becoming respectful, resilient and ambitious members of the community. You will use data to inform your actions and analyse impact whilst also being a figure of authority and role model around the academy. You will be joining a staff team who care deeply about the students and community they serve, building an academy which will have a huge impact upon the local area. This will be a challenging role but one which will energise you and bring a huge amount of enjoyment and reward. This role would suit someone looking for their first Vice Principal/Deputy role, or an existing one looking for a new challenge. Given the unique challenges of opening a new school, this post will provide great experience for those aspiring to Headship in the future with OCL providing a highly supportive environment in which to achieve your career goals.
About us:
Oasis Academy Daventry Road is a brand new 11-16 co-educational academy that opened in south Bristol in September 2023 it is a growing start up school which currently has 7 and 8 pupils only. The academy will continue to grow and will eventually move to our permanent site on Daventry Road. Oasis Academy Daventry Road will deliver high quality teaching in an environment where every child is valued and supported to succeed. We will work to develop the character and competence of all young people, in pursuit of everyone receiving an exceptional education and reaching their full potential both in learning and in life.
