Driver Trainer

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Driver Trainer to play a vital role coordinating our daily warehouse and distribution requirements at Nisa, Avonmouth.

What Does The Role Entail?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

• Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• To carry out and continue to maintain driver training records across the HGV drivers
• To cover routes when the operational requires (Mondays/Tuesdays)
• Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations.

What Do We Need From You?

We'd love to hear from you if you have the following experience but don't hesitate to apply if you don't tick every box on this page - we're great at spotting talent and potential in everyone:

• You will hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving License (C+E) for at least 2 years, Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card (Essential)
• Previous experience in driver development (Desirable)
• Great organizational skills with the ability to keep all drivers records up to date at all times
• Great team ethic as will be working within a great team
