Prego is looking for a full time sous chef to start as soon as possible.

Prego is a very busy Italian neighborhood restaurant that specializes in handmade pasta, pizza and regional Italian dishes. Experience with pizza or bread making would be preferable but not essential, training for these skills will be provided by us.

The role will involve leading shifts and generally supporting our head chef with ordering, rotas, health and safety etc. We have been in the Good Food Guide for over a decade, so you will be used to high standards and a fast pace.

The role will typically be based around 4 split shifts. Salary will be negligible on experience, you will receive tips and a meal if worked more than 7 hours.

We need someone with a good command of English and someone who works well under pressure. We want someone with a positive attitude towards their job, food and co workers.
