We're working with a vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Bristol, who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is a full-time role that will run for the entire academic year, with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.

About the Role:

You will be delivering engaging, curriculum-aligned English lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, supporting them to develop confidence in both English Language and Literature. You'll have access to excellent departmental resources and will work closely with a team of experienced colleagues to enhance student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver creative, high-quality English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing effective feedback
• Create an inclusive classroom environment that motivates and inspires learners
• Contribute to departmental planning and wider school initiatives

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• QTS and a relevant degree in English or a related subject
• Experience teaching English at secondary level
• Strong classroom management and the ability to adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners
• A passion for inspiring young people and a commitment to their progress
