About The Role
Are you a skilled Solutions Architect with a passion for designing and implementing robust IT systems that meet complex business needs? We are seeking an experienced professional, with at least 5 years Solutions Architecture experience to join our team. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the architecture of new business streams, and our IT projects. You’ll work closely with technical staff and stakeholders to assess current systems, recommend improvements, and oversee the delivery of innovative solutions that align with our strategic objectives, regulations and security requirements
In this role, you will be responsible for designing solutions that could be stand alone or on Hyper-Converged Infrastructure. A good understanding of Windows Server and Networking is required. Many projects involve Manufacturing Operational Infrastructure so an understanding of PLCs, IoT or OT would be an advantage. Your expertise will guide the business in making informed decisions, and you will serve as a key authority in resolving technical challenges as they arise.
This role is vital for maintaining the alignment between our IT strategy and business goals, especially within the highly regulated defence sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in on-premises Solutions Architecture, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-specialists.
So, what are we looking for?
