As a TCA Instructor, you have responsibility for the safe delivery of a range of TCA climbing & coaching courses, NICAS and youth group sessions. As the first point of contact, you are an ambassador to the TCA brand. You will act in a professional manner and will reflect a positive approach to customers, providing equal opportunities and the elimination of discrimination. You must adhere to the TCA H&S Policy and Operating Procedures and maintain excellent communication with the TCA Management Team.
Role Specific Responsibility
- To hold the appropriate NGB award, first aid and have an enhanced DBS check or PVG (Scotland)
- You should be highly motivated, hardworking, enthusiastic, and good at communicating clearly with both children and adults.
- Must keep abreast of the latest coaching and instructing techniques
- Must work to current ‘good’ practice
- Be willing to work evenings and weekends
- Will be required to attend regular instructors meetings.
- To be moderated every 6 months to ensure they are conforming to current TCA H&S Policies and Procedures, national governing body guidelines and are delivering the high standard of instruction expected from the TCA brand.The post holder is expected to undertake any other reasonable duties within their capabilities and the scope of the post as specified by their Line Manager.

Requirements:
- Essentials: CWI/RCI or higher
- Desirable: CWDI, Foundation/Development coach, current first aid, enhanced DBS & NICAS Inducted.
Pay: £12:77 - £17.80 ph dependent on qualifications & experience.
