Environmental Project Officer

The West of England Mayoral Combined Authority is seeking to appoint two Environmental Project Officers, to join the Environment team. Your key responsibilities in these role would be to ensure a focus on delivering the priorities of the Metro Mayor by:

• Supporting programme and project development and implementation.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver joint aims.
• Ensuring projects are delivered according to best practice, for example identifying opportunities and risks and advice and guidance.
• Utilising internal and external databases and systems, where appropriate, including to record accurate and up to date information. 
• Use financial management processes/procedures/best practice, to ensure project funding is effectively and lawfully utilised.

We have one full time role, Climate Resilience Project Officer, and one part time role at 0.8 FTE, Nature and Health Project Officer. Job share and flexible working can be considered, we will also consider secondments. These roles are 1 year fixed term.
