We help our audiences pursue their passions through highly trusted, original content – in print, video and online.
You’ll be responsible for setting and conceptualising our entire customer acquisition strategy and then enable the effective delivery of that strategy through leadership of the Customer Acquisition team. You will develop strategies to drive customer growth – ensuring we target and recruit customers within our key target areas and that we align our acquisition strategies with our wider business goals, purpose and vision. Most importantly you’ll be a native digital first acquisition marketeer who thrives on being at the forefront of emerging trends and looks to go the extra mile to deliver on our objectives.
You will be managing a wide range of performance marketing channels across print and digital and be highly experienced in conversion rate optimisation. You’ll work with stakeholders across the business to ensure our customer acquisition campaigns align with our brand and business goals. You will also be responsible for ensuring our acquisition pricing strategy is optimised and reviewed on a regular basis – always with a view to capitalise on our customer lifetime value. You will lead on best practice for customer acquisition and ensure Our Media is up-to-date on emerging trends and initiatives. This role will require you to have an excellent understanding of online customer journeys, omnichannel experience and the ability to identify key areas to optimize for customer growth.
You will be responsible for acquisition targets that are integral to business success, ensuring these are measurable against predicted customer lifetime value. You will help to create channel specific strategies across paid social, SEO, affiliates, paid search, display, retargeting amongst others. You will be responsible for the continual optimisation of all acquisition channels, conversion rates, daily monitoring and spend - adjusting accordingly. You will continuously be looking for opportunities for growth using digital marketing channels to create new audiences.
Working closely with our Customer Engagement and Loyalty and eCommerce teams you’ll ensure the customers we target and acquire meet the LTV requirements of the wider marketing team.
As Head of Customer Acquisition you will be instrumental in role-modelling our culture and company values, being 'insatiably curious' about our customers, our products and the markets we operate in. This curiosity will enable you to lead and develop the expertise of the customer acquisition team to deliver inspirational customer acquisition strategies and campaigns – continuously challenging and improving the status quo.
This is a fast-paced role, you’ll need to be action orientated, love making things happen at pace and have the skills to lead the way.
